PROJECT SUMMARY:
This new multi-family residential development, located near the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, transforms a site currently occupied by a four-unit apartment building into a thoughtfully designed complex of thirteen contemporary townhomes. Each residence incorporates 5 bedrooms and 4 or 4.5 baths, offering substantial living space tailored to the needs of students.

Beyond simply providing bedrooms and baths, the design introduces generous amenity spaces, including a large loggia that serves as a private outdoor retreat or a flexible sunroom equipped with a sectional garage-style door ideal for studying, gaming, hanging out, or even as a personal lounge.

At the same time, the building responds elegantly to the site’s significant grade change. By providing dual access: at both the first and second levels, the design ensures efficient circulation, clear wayfinding, which enhances resident convenience. The seamless connectivity across the sloping terrain, makes the building feel integrated with its site, not imposed on it.
