The K-25 Interpretive Center Wins a 2026 Metal Architecture Design Award
We are honored to announce that the K-25 Interpretive Center is the Insulated Metal Panels category winner of the 2026 Metal Architecture Design Awards. Boasting an industrial aesthetic that honors the project’s Cold War and Manhattan projects’ historical significance, the use of metal in this design was purposeful and powerful.
This prestigious recognition highlights Smee + Busby Architects’ dedication to pushing boundaries and elevating design with metal.
These awards honor projects with exemplary overall appearance, significant use of metal, and visionary designs. All projects completed between May 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026, were eligible for consideration.
