PROJECT SUMMARY:
The Burlington Lighthouse Project is a new, ground-up, community center for the East Knoxville neighborhood of Burlington. Plans are centered around a multi-purpose space where 400 can be served dinner or it can seat 600 for a performance or seminar. The front vestibule will provide a large indoor/outdoor gathering space. Included in the building will be a free full-service medical clinic, a free mental health clinic, a barber school, and flexible classroom space for a variety of vocational programs.
